Corolla Wild Horse Tours reviews
We were able to see 20+ horses, including a 16-day old foal. Our driver (an older gentleman--sorry, didn't catch his name) seemed to be experienced, and handled the vehicle well in deep sand. I... more »

Late review-I went on August 1st. Right off the bat we were told that this was the wettest summer they've ever had so it might be hard to get to some horses - which I understood. Two groups left at the same time. The other group went through some water and was getting really close. Our driver would not follow and kept turning around. When we mentioned we saw a horse, he didn't always turn around - which he told us he would. He talked a lot about his house and the flooding and how wet everything was. We did A LOT of driving while the other group from the same company kept going off the beach and got to see the horses. He took us back almost a full 30 minutes before the end of the tour. I was really wishing I was with the other group.
Eleven of took the tour in a twelve seat truck. Horace was our guide and he did a great job. He belongs to the local historical society and was very knowledgeable pertaining to the history of that area. We saw several horses around the houses away from the ocean, including a filly which was a month old. It is a two hour tour for about $50.00 and well worth the price. Take your camera for some great photos.
