PEDEGO™ was conceived in 2007 to create a line of electric bikes that combine style and function to open up cycling to anyone who might otherwise not be getting the benefits from bike riding. Many people would like to ride a bike, but find it impractical or impossible because of hills, distance, health reasons, knee problems, aging or the inconvenience of having to shower and change at work. PEDEGO™ electric bikes make biking much more accessible to the 98% of the population who aren't currently cyclists. To visit Pedego Electric Bikes Coronado and other attractions in Coronado, use our Coronado trip itinerary builder website .
PEDEGO™ designed all of its electric bikes to offer a new and promising alternative form of urban transportation. They provide all the advantages of a regular bicycle: fun, exercise, free parking, zero emissions and freedom from gridlock while eliminating one of the bicycle's more serious drawbacks, lack of power.
Fundamentally, a PEDEGO™ bike is just like a regular bicycle with a quiet built-in electric hub motor to provide additional assistance. You can pedal normally and just use the motor to help out on hills and headwinds or use the motor all the time just to make riding easier. The experience is entirely different from riding a gas scooter or motorbike. The electric assistance is perfectly smooth and silent which complements, rather than supplants, human power. Check out cool line of electric bicycles!

Fabulous experience! We called to reserve bikes; person was so friendly and helpful. Bikes are great, charge on battery lasted all day. Very good deal and so much fun. We are not experienced bikers so we just did the Coronado loop. But there are longer and more challenging trails if you wish.
Super helpful and friendly staff! We had a total BLAST!! We saw way more of Coronado than my teenage daughter would have agreed to than if we were on a regular bike. Definitely a must do when in San Diego!! Easy Peasy to ride!
