North Beach, Corpus Christi

#3 of 8 in Beaches in Corpus Christi
Beach · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Our projects involve making improvements to the neighborhood in the way of donations and clean ups. Our past projects include:

- "Bring Back the Boarwalk" campaign in 1991 that raised money for the first phase of building what is now a 1-mile-long beachfront sidewalk called the "Corpus Christi Beachwalk." Phase 3 was completed in 2012.

- Dolphin Park - NBCA officially renamed the area on the north end of the beach "Dolphin Park," secured funding from Kaboom and Rebuild Texas for playground equipment, encouraged the city to use parks enrichment funding to buy concrete dolphin sculptures, and have adopted the park through the City of CC's Adopt-A-Park program for the past several years.

  • We stayed at North Beach. The beach was very nice and very well kept. We were very impressed with how everyone cleaned up after themselves after their 4th of July festivities.  more »
