  • I've been going to the "Marketplace" so long that I still refer to it as the Swap Meet. It is not the same place that it was years ago. There are some improvements. There are better choices in food. They're letting more of the vendors sell food now. However it's about half the size that used to be. And some of the best vendors are gone. My favorite Bread seller, and the lady with the great handbags with great prices...gone! A few of the vendors sell things that are so old and messy looking I wouldn't even consider buying them. But you still have some good choices: beautiful plants (especially succulents)in several different areas, a grocery section that has some really good deals and some good-looking produce and of course, the watch repair and sales booth.( It's the best place to get your batteries replaced on your watches. They're very nice and their prices are very much cheaper than at stores.) You can buy anything from t-shirts and hats to furniture for your house or your patio. All-in-all, it's a nice way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning.
  • I have been going to the marketplace for years. Returned after a several year absence to find a shadow if what was once a fabulous place to shop and eat. It is less than half the size it used to be. An entire row of beautiful produce has been reduced to one small booth. Not the same place. It did have live music.
