  • I loved our visit. We stayed in the Eagle cabin. My only complaint with the cabin was the beds were padded but like sleeping on directly on a board. Buy a foam pad or blow up mattress. Remember...

  • Really enjoyed the hike (on packed dirt path) along the lagoon edges. Great sunsets here! Also there is a free zip line (small one) for kids.
  • We really enjoyed our visit, but our stay was too short. CG staff was friendly and helpful. We set up on a pull-thru site with elec. and water, the dump station is near the entrance. It was so convenient to ride my mountain bike from the site to some interesting, well marked, trails. Very nice views from high above on the trail. It's arid country, so rocks, shifting sand and cacti abound. Fun! After one ride we stopped by THAT Brewery in Cottonwood and downed several Arizona Trail Ales and THAT Ambers. Jerome was quite an interesting town, along with the Jerome Historic Park. Our final evening ended with a picnic at the lake. So quiet and peaceful. The campers in our loop were courteous and quiet.
