  • Fort is very accessible for exploring. Went down to the beach for a nice hike. Saw seals in the water just a few feet from shore.

  • we visited here twice on our stay. first time we walked from the Fort Casey In and then we drove over. this fort is so well kept and maintained. the staff here are extremely frothy and knowledgeable. my 4 year old loved all the ladders and hidden rooms. we even baby carried two infants because it would be difficult to push a stroller. the views are amazing and there are lots of deer running around. this is a great place to bring a picnic lunch with the family
  • Wish we had more time to explore the park. Our time was limited to an hour due to a ferry wait. The park was very well maintained beautiful location/view, and lots of wildlife. Historical photos and signs provided excellent detailed information of the parks history and buildings. Is very quiet and relaxing. One accidental perk to our visit, was that we met someone waiting waiting for the ferry too...who has worked at both Fort Casey and Fort Worden and personally I gave us a history lesson of the fort!
