Crescent City Harbor, Crescent City

Pier / Boardwalk · Hidden Gem · Landmark
Welcome to the Crescent City Harbor District! We offer a new, state-of-the-art marina, with modern amenities for both commercial fisherman and recreational boaters.

Our harbor facilities were dedicated on March 22, 2014. The Inner Boat Basin marina has 240 slips which range in size from 30 feet to 70 feet with side- tie availability for vessels up to 100 feet. The harbor is dredged to a 12 foot depth.

Wide concrete docks from Bellingham Marine with lighted Eaton pedestals provide a safe and stable environment for your vessel and passengers. A new ADA compliant restroom facility with showers, a laundry facility and an enclosed fish cleaning station was completed earlier this year.

The Chart Room, a seafood restaurant overlooking the harbor, and Porcini, a contemporary cuisine establishment with views of the beach, are both located within the harbor. For sandwiches and fresh filleted fish you can walk to The Harbor Deli or if you are interested in buying fresh crab or oysters, The Crab Shack is also located at the harbor.

There are five other restaurants, ranging from Northwest contemporary to Mexican, just across the street.

Englund Marine has a store at the harbor that can meet all your vessel, foul weather gear and fishing needs.

We have a 30 ton Travelift and a dry storage area for light do-it-yourself repairs. Fashion Blacksmith is a full service shipyard with a shiplift 100 feet long and 34 feet wide.

The new Inner Boat Basin was designed to resist a 50 year Tsunami event. Thirty inch diameter piles, enclosed in HDPE sleeves, were driven from twenty one to thirty seven feet into the bedrock. “H” dock is designed as a wave and current attenuator with many closely spaced piles to disrupt tsunami flow patterns within the harbor.

  • Nice quick stop right off 101. Bring some binoculars cause they are about 50yards off the jetty. But the kids will still enjoy it.  more »
  • We went to Chart room at the harbor and were able to see the sea lions! It was so kool. I didn't realize till I got there that Sea lions are noisy!  more »

  • Very clean & quiet tranquil. There were not many people there today. Not a good spot to go rock fishing or ground fish species seeking. But with the sandy bottom all around the pier, it is known to be a good spot for perch. Make sure of course to follow the tides as fish tend to bite on incoming tide mostly.
  • Gorgeous. Love the sunsets. Can see the lighthouse from here. Great place to walk and get exercise. They have a public bathroom and places to sit and rest. Great place to relax and unwind.
