  • There are two sections, north and south of lake Earl, with a beach walk of 11 miles between. This park has variety: forests, wetlands, ponds, sloughs, sand dunes and meadows ablaze in wildflowers...  more »
  • This is the most wonderful place to go at sunset. I experienced the Glory of God and was ready to walk on the water and rise up into eternity just before sunset. You can spend many quiet hours here...  more »

  • It depends on what you are looking for here. This was a quiet beach with few other people. The sand wasn’t soft though. It was larger grain sand. We could still walk on it barefoot but there were some very rocky areas that you couldn’t walk without shoes. Nice sized waves though.
  • We didn't really go down to the beach but the larger loop on the map. The trail is pretty simple and there is nothing steep. This is an easy trail with kids. Many different types of vegetation, animals and terrain to check out.
