  • Been coming here for 20 years. Short, moderately difficult hike about 2 mile round trip, primarily on asphalt and groomed gravel. Breathtaking views of the lake both East towards Crystal Bay/Incline, NV and West towards King’s Beach and Tahoe Vista, CA. Bring a picnic or a beverage to enjoy. Also, hire a professional photographer to capture amazing images. I suggest Danielle Hankinson Photography in King’s Beach. She knows the area and is skilled at bringing the most out of this incredible landscape as well as capturing the personality of her subjects.
  • Steep walk if you aren't used to inclines. Beautiful views at the top. Good spots for a picnic. No restrooms. No signs at the trailhead, parked on the side of the road with everyone else and walked up the barricaded road.
