  • Best to get there early for parking could be a challenge, specially on weekends and holidays! Lots of choices on trails for hikes or walks.  more »

  • This preserve and the trails were my regular weekly haunt years ago. Went back to see how it's changed - 7:40 am on a Sunday morning - and i found the lower parking lot completely full. Saw a few cars occupying two slots, now that's on them. This preserve has a variety of trails - there is one that will match your own desire for level of activity. From the parking lot, you can tell this is a very popular place - so if you like walking with lots of people, kids, babies in strollers, joggers, this is the place to be! If not, there are hundreds of trails in dozens of open space preserves in the south bay...
  • Great hiking place with shades, restrooms and fountain water. The deer hallow farm is good place for kids. Nice 1 mile walk from parking lot. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. I will certainly visit again...
