This whole area is so incredibly beautiful! We truly enjoyed the views and the terrain. We also saw a lot of wildlife: deer and longhorn sheep mostly. We really enjoyed our tour of the area.

Beautiful, beautiful area! We have a blast riding trails and camping with friends and family. We love it so much we go about 3 to 4 times a year. The drive is anywhere between 5 and 7 hours for us and it's so worth it!

I have now been fortunate enough to have lived in the Black Hills National Forest almost 16 years now. I own a great property on Sunny Side, Lead at an elevation that affords me a view overlooking the historic town with hills and forest all around. I’m on the trails most days with my dog Mack and hoping nothing changes here. The views year round can leave you speechless. Being here affords us the time to come to an appreciation of the history, triumphs and sadness. For pioneers, for Native Americans . We don’t rewrite our history, we appreciate it and respect it here. My waking dream passing through this mostly untouched land is a reward I feel I don’t deserve.
