We stopped in to see the museum while waiting for a table at Burgers and Buns (eat lunch here by the way!) and we were SO glad we did !! What a wonderful museum. A bargain with a $6 entry fee...

They are now open for the summer season ! Yay! I was excited for this and it was so cool to see stuff! Decent admission prices is a bonus. They have alot of stuff on early pioneers. Lots of stuff on local tribes, with native things actually marked as by specific tribes! Displays on logging,mining, taxidermy, government etc. I thought it was cool how detailed they are on the history of the artifacts. You can tell alot of work has gone into preserving this place. Yes, they do indeed have General Custers rifle.
