Great views from the lookout. Guy wires to the east kind of block picture taking, but the perspective of the Black Hills transitioning to the eastern plains is interesting.

Fun hike up a gravel road. FYI, the gate was locked to vehicles but you can hike up it. The views are spectacular, especially on a clear day, as we had today. You get a view of all three of the magnificent features the Black Hills has to offer, Mt Rushmore, Cathedral Spires and Crazy Horse. We spent some time at the top looking out over the beautiful landscape below. Again, the views are fabulous!

The road up and down is an experience itself. The view from the top is amazing! You can see Crazy Horse and Rushmore.
