My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. The sample pours were a good size and the cheese and cracker platter hit the spot. We especially enjoyed sitting outside looking at the pond as we sampled our wine. Will definitely plan a repeat visit.
Pugliese gets a star for the pond and another for the live music. The staff were also great, but the wine itself is horrible. The sparkling Merlot is far too heavy, the rosé has a taste similar to turpentine, and the late harvest Riesling was sweet without depth. Also, the winery is overrun with bridal parties.
