  • Really like this place! The trails were great, we had lots of fun mountain biking! They are not difficult, my wife rode her bike and our 2.5 year old rode with me. The camping areas are nice. The swim area has plenty of room to set up your tents, there is also some shade trees and picnic tables near the swim area as well. I wish it had a beach type set up instead of a retaining wall at the swim area, if your familiar with Tyler state park it’s set up pretty much the same. Great park and will be visiting here multiple times a year.
  • Loved this park! The lake is beautiful, the trees are majestic, it was nice and peaceful with plwnty of places where you can sit and just be peaceful in nature. You can rent boats for the lake but we didn't try that because we had the dog with us. If you camp make sure you have a good lantern because the trees are tall and close together so it is extremely dark at night.
