  • I'm surprised this place isn't on more lists of must-do activities for Dallas. We visited Dallas for just over a week and this was by far our favorite! We only went because it was the last place on our city pass. We definitely did not allow enough time to see the whole Arboretum. We were only able to do the kids section and we basically ran through it (it took almost 3 hours with our toddler and preschooler) and we had an absolutely fantastic time. It's hard to describe, but for an adult, it was beautiful and for our children it was fun and magical (they adored the hedge maze)
  • I absolutely loved all the plant life there was to offer. The water features were great too. Very beautiful. Would recommend for a first date or maybe second. Probably about 4K steps to go around the entire pathway. On the other side, $15 to walk around a huge park...are we covering the water bill or lack of attendance? Should prob be more around a $8-$10 range. They have a small cafe at the entrance where it’s $8.50 for a bagel and cream cheese, but I understand it’s a business and they have to nickel and dime, where they can.
  • Most beautiful garden I have ever seen! There is a huge grassy hill with shade trees overlooking White Rock Lake. The view is aesthetically breathtaking. People were picnicking, napping, reading, having photo shoots; seemed to be the most popular site within the garden. An abundance of quiet, benched areas planted throughout the flowers and water falls and fountains. There are a few restaurants on site. Which was surprising because the brochure suggested packing lunch or a picnic and coolers. That proves the museum is more interested in each visitor enjoying nature to the fullest. Not forcing everyone to eat and drink there to make it more profitable verses enjoyable. I went by myself and it was amazing. Am contemplating becoming a member to go often as I like and receive some perks along the way.....
  • One of the most beautiful places my wife and I have ever been. Seems like the garden just goes on and on, every turn is something new. With a cafe and gift shop inside, and very low entry price. The groundskeepers do an insanely excellent job at maintaining all the plants there. Will definitely be returning next time we come through Dallas.
  • Beautifully landscaped multi level colourful gardens & trails with fountains, bridges, sculptures & other water features, & views of White Rock Lake. The Crepe Myrtle Canopy is amazing. So much to see, enjoy & experience. Great place for a peaceful morning or afternoon stroll. Only complaint is - I don't understand why they charge, & charge so much, for parking. Why is that not included in the admission price? What happens if the lot is full? Guess people park for free across the street?
