  • They are currently making a new building to expand into, but you are still able to tour the original one on Record street until the new one is built. This museum is a great collection of information, media, and memorabilia about one of the darkest times in history. There are several personal reflections of the survivors and other people who lived during this period and getting to hear their stories, in their voices, is something haunting and poignant. This museum is a must see for every single person, in my opinion. I think it's important for young people to see and hear what these people went through while the world was doing their best to ignore the true nature of the events of this time. It's important to remember and learn from it, or we are doomed to repeat it. An excellent experience and one that educates and resonates with you.
  • Giving 4 stars only because it's small. Has a lot of interesting stuff. I did like how they have the listening devices set up for self guided tours. They advise against kids younger then 12 attending the museum due to some of the images. I took my 9 year old and all was well, but he did lose interest pretty quickly. There isn't anything there for young kids. But still worth a visit and staff were helpful. They have a small gift shop and said they would soon be moving to a new space across the street that will be much larger and they will have more then just Holicaust topics.
