  • The Dallas World Aquarium is awesome! It is huge, full of life, and wonderfully laid out. The path is easy to follow and the provided map and guide makes it hard to miss much. There are a few spots you can miss, like the outdoor penguin exhibit, if you're not on the lookout. Overall, there were hundreds of animals and tons of features, like the waterfall in the manatee exhibit, that make this place super attractive for animal lovers. The saltwater exhibits were very uniquely set up and interesting to look at; the way they're broken up is very neat and modern. It's such a fun experience. I would say this is not the best place for kids, as there are a lot of higher, harder to reach parts of some exhibits, and there's a lot of sensory information coming all at once that may overstimulate a child.
  • Very entertaining spot to go see. We brought our two young boys who both thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would say it is 50% aquarium, 25% zoo, and 25% botanical garden. Very well done. Walk through shark tank, large small primate exhibit, and just a ton of birds and plants. Nothing I would recommend a trip to Dallas for in and of itself but certainly a worth while trip while in town.
