#11 of 17 in Museums in Dallas
In 2005, an electrical fire destroyed the Biblical Arts Center and much of its artwork. Since that time, the Museum has been re-built and expanded to become The Museum of Biblical Art, Dallas. The Museum's new building features beautiful event spaces, impressive architecture, and eleven galleries for art and exhibitions.

In the years since the Museum's re-opening, the MBA's mission to provide a place of peace in the city through the display Biblically-themed art has led to numerous educational programs for youth and adults as well as countless art exhibitions by artists from diverse spiritual and secular backgrounds.

Types of art exhibited include bronze sculpture installations, drawings, fine prints and lithographs, tapestry, and oil paintings.

Please visit the MBA Dallas website for more information about field trips, tours, and upcoming events. www.biblicalarts.org.

  • First time visiting a biblical museum before and it was very nice. The paintings were beautiful. I really enjoyed being able to ask a Holocaust survivor questions, I thought that was really neat.  more »

  • My wife and I visited this afternoon. We were impressed by how much there is to see here. Paintings dating from the medieval period to the 21st century, sculptures, and more. The artwork covers both the Old Testament and the New Testament. There was also a very moving exhibit about the Holocaust, plus a temporary exhibit by the National Archives of Iraqi Jewish documents discovered in 2003 by American troops. To top it all off, the museum director very graciously invited us to stay for a private tour of the Iraqi exhibit by the curator. I highly recommend a visit to this museum for anyone who happens to be passing through Dallas.
(প্রকৃত) What a beautiful building, outside and throughout the inside as well. The collection is rotated every three months as I understand, and was fairly stunning. Well worth the time to visit, and the staff I dealt with were polite, friendly and helpful to a fault
