On the grounds of the city's first park, Old City Park remains a great place to step back in time. Immerse yourself in the lives of pioneers and people from the Victorian era. As you stroll the grounds, you will learn about raising animals, agriculture, family life, and community life in 19th-century Texas. The village hosts many family events through the year, most of which allow visitors to participate. Please be sure to check out the website for further details. Really enjoyed my tour with Angie. She was so sweet and knowledgeable about the buildings. The ticket area, general store, saloon, donkey area, and Sellerman house representatives were also so kind. Manuel at the Dog run house was also knowledgeable and friendly. It was fun watching the rooster follow him around. There is so much to see here...I recommend you spend the day and relax and take in the good vibes. Bring good walking shoes and support this not so little gem!

I discovered the place in the last minute and I didn't regret of going there. At the beginning I thought that it was expensive but the village has too much to offer. Everything is well conserved and the village is amazing, even more we were able to saw everything without a lot of tourists. It was great having a lot of space for us but I honestly recommend that place!
