Located in Dallas’ historic district, the aquarium and zoo complex features eight themed exhibits dedicated to education and the preservation of endangered animals and sea creatures. Wander through the tropical rainforest exhibit for a chance to see exotic birds, Orinoco crocodiles, and three-toed sloths, or get up close to dozens of sharks, rays, and sawfish at the Mundo Maya exhibit. This is far more than an Aquarium, it's almost like a tropical zoo as well. Tons of various animals to see, both aquatic and aviary. It's well worth the price of admission to see this three-floor...

This aquarium was a great experience and well worth a visit for anyone who likes animals. It has plenty to see from fish, reptiles/amphibians, mammals and birds. They were doing some construction...

It is amazing how in the middle of city, an unassuming building suddenly transforms to a tropical aquarium. My kid on a nice warm day enjoyed it from the beginning to finish. Few things about the place. Unlike other places that have attractions after you pay for it, here there are birds and sounds and small sections as you climb up. Then once you enter you see a beautiful area of Blue Penguins. Yes blue penguins that are so tiny and cute. Then the rest of the exhibits are housed in a semi-natural state with flowing waterfall. I never could imagine how a city block can have a waterfall with swans running in it. Then the crocodile section, otters, frogs and turtles are a delight for a good afternoon visit. I would highly recommend, parking is pretty cheap and quite a good number of spots available. The cafe is good but we brought food from home, so we went to the nearby Kyle Warren Park to have a good picnic lunch with concert. All in all an enjoyable experience for your children.

I love aquariums! I've been to 100's and this one jumped into my top 5. Great for kids of all ages and adults. Approximately 1-1.5hrs to walk through. Exhibits have all kinds of aquatic life as well as many animals and birds. Loved the frog exhibits where the challenge was to find the frog. Spent 15 min and only found 3. Stroller and wheelchair friendly.
