Wahconah Falls State Park is a small Massachusetts state park in the town of Dalton managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. The park protects the scenic waterfall for which it is named.
Wahconah Falls are created where Wahconah Falls Brook makes four individual drops, tumbling over an outcrop of the Becket Gneiss formation. The falls have been described as "rather photogenic" depending on time of year.
Visitors can hike, fish, and picnic. Swimming and wading are also possible.

    Just a quick visit. Fairly easy short walk down and up with my two little kids. Very calm and serene. Worth a stop if you’re nearby!

    I would have given this place a 5 star rating had it not been for the lack of signage & trail markings. It’s a beautiful place, parking lot is just a short walk from the gorgeous falls...just follow the sound. There are 2 nice large picnic tables at the falls. Reviews said to hike up river above the falls. Nothing was marked & ground was covered with wet leaves but we followed right up along the water and it was a beautiful walk. So much more to see, there were other cascades, water rushing over boulders, etc. Spring thaw is always a good time to be near waterfalls.
