Tory's Falls, also called Tory Falls and Torys Falls is a waterfall in North Central North Carolina, located in Hanging Rock State Park in Stokes County.
The falls are located near an area called "Tory's Den", a cave that was purportedly used by Tories during the American Revolution.
The falls are open to the public and are accessible beginning at a parking area on the side of Charley Young Road. Visitors may take a moderate-difficulty 300 yard (275m) trail to the falls. It is difficult to see the entire falls from any one location, and the water source occasionally dries up to a trickle.

  We were warned by the Hanging Rock State Park staff that this was one of the weaker falls in the park; however, we went when it was raining and it was spectacular. This gorgeous cascade is long...  more »

  Short and easy hike from the parking area. You can't approach the water, but you're afforded a nice view from a rock ledge. Be careful with kids, there are no barriers guarding against a fall.

  Fascinating place with a fascinating history. Very peaceful hike off of the beaten path. The falls are beautiful, when its not dried up. The cave isn't much of a cave, but its still interesting. Besides, thats the way nature made it.
