  • I came to the area to visit friends who live in Russellville, & we decided to grab to-go food & eat at a picnic table in the park. What a lovely idea!! So, while I didn't camp here, I did drive...  more »

  • Close to town, clean grounds, well spaced camping spots. My space was right on the water which was very relaxing. The visitor center is very nice. There's a beach, didn't try it but looked good. This is a good place to try camping for the first time or/and with little ones. It's only a few miles from town. Feels like you are in nature but every once in a while you hear a train in the distance. Oh and there's a nuclear power plant across the lake which was pretty odd and interesting for a state park. No dark skies, you'll have to go to the Buffalo for that.
  • So many spacious camp sites Lots if fresh air and alot of shade full hook ups. Walking trails bikes. Boat rentals..Nice quiet place with caring and considerate people. Very organized and very well maintained..We will be back💟
