Ashantilly is the non-profit organization founded by William G. Haynes, Jr. of Darien, GA. He was an award-winning letterpress printer and artist. His home is constructed on the footprint of Thomas Spalding's mainland home, circa 1820. The original tabby walls form the core of the home's central section left standing after a devastating 1937 fire.
