  Went on the tour of Sapelo Island on June 22, 2017. Was really looking forward to learning about the Black history of the Geechee people. Instead , the tour focused on the white men who had been slaveholders and had developed the island. Our black tour guide was excellent, but clearly the focus is on white men. Very disappointed and hope in the future you will give more time to the people of color who were self sustainable for many years.
