  On a hot Sunday afternoon September 8th, the beach at the very west end of Dauphin Island was a great place to stop and walk. There is a parking lot at the very dead end of the road, it was only about...  more »

  We visited this beach and another one at the western tip and both are excellent. However, this one did have jellyfish which we were not prepared for. And they charge if you go before 5:00.  more »
