Native Americans have seen chocolate as a gift to the world since the 1500s, when the Olmecs and Toltecs introduced Europeans to a newfound delicacy. Today, Bedré and the Chickasaw Nation continue the legacy with expertly crafted Native American chocolate and natural, unique ingredients that pay tribute to our past. As the only Native American tribe to create its own brand of fine chocolates, we take great pride in our products and instill cultural passion into everything we do.A visit to Bedre Fine Chocolate represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Davis sightseeing site to plot your vacation.
With high-end machinery on hand, we carefully mix and control our chocolates to secure the perfect and most delicious results from each batch. Bedré Chocolates are sold at our Davis, Oklahoma, facility and retail shop, and in fine retailers nationwide.
Given our strong ties to our culture and community, we make an effort to give back to the land and people who support us. It is an interesting place. They give out samples. They had reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can even watch them make the chocolate. They had a wide variety of chocolate.
We love this place. Always stop in for a rest stop here and get something yummy on our way down to Texas. This time we were there early enough in the day and got to see them making and boxing up some chocolate in the factory. The hostesses are always so nice and great you with samples that the kids and I love. The chocolate is a bit pricey but I like supporting the tribal businesses when I can so we always like to buy a few treats
