Enjoy a hike and a swim at Turner Falls Park. Two trails lead to the base of the falls and the pool at Honey Creek. The 6.1 sq km (1,500 acre) park features several more paths that guide you past rock formations, caves, and thick forest growth. Take the trail that passes a castle built in the 1930s, and explore inside its stone walls. At the falls, relax on the benches or take a dip in the pool. Remember to bring your swimsuit and sunscreen. • There are great views available even if you are unable to hike the trails. If you are able to hike the trails, then you will see some really breathtaking scenery!

  • Last summer, my summer camp took all of us to Turner Falls. I live down in Dallas Texas, so I had no idea what this place was. Turns out, it was amazing. When we were in the big pool, there was a kid who would not want to jump off the diving board. The whole pool was cheering this kid on to jump off (Note: he was around 4-5 years old I think) Once he did, the whole place erupted and everyone was so happy. Great slides, people there are amazing.
  • A true low key natural beauty and fun gem! Some of the facilities are a little older and slightly run down, but staff keep the property immaculate. About a 5 hour drive from Houston... great for a long camping weekend. Highly recommended for families. If you bring kids... Don't forget to bring life jackets for kids. I will recommend to friends. Another plus, most signage is in English and Spanish.
