  • I cannot say enough good things about this working 1800’s farm!! My grandma and my aunt used to take my sister and I, plus all of our cousins to carriage hill at least once a week when it was weather permitting. They have since added new and improved buildings to the farm, but the old town charm/feel is still there and pleasant as ever. The penny candy store is the only one I know of around here, and if you go on the weekends all of the animals will be out. Along with a working blacksmith, woodworker, farm house, a couple barns, and horse/hayrides. They also have events from time to time throughout the year. Usually with the switching of seasons, and holidays. I’ve been being my boys here since they were born, so that would be 17 years. Soon we’ll have a new addition to the family, and I plan to carry on this little tradition for as long as I can. Hoping one day my boys will be bringing their children to the farm.
  • Great place to bring your family! It has a few days worth of entertainment bundled up here as long with some cool history! the animals always seem to be having a fun time and look like they are treated well. all though some of the goats tend to be a bit devilish sounding lol. I could walk around the park all day! they have some many trails and hidden features all around the park. I used to fish here quite a bit and it is a wonderful spot for kids to get into fishing! plenty of bluegills and bass loaded up inside the first big pond but there is also one a bit further back if you want to adventure a bit!
