  • I visited the museum for the first time this past weekend and can say it’s definitely worth visiting at least once. The building is beautiful and has a nice view of the city, it’s very clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly. The museum is small and mostly featured artwork from lesser known artists, however there were plenty of interesting pieces and they did have a Monet painting and a couple Van Gogh’s. I only wish the museum was bigger, but if you don’t mind the size, it is a relaxing way to spend two hours if you are an art lover.
  • Took my adult artistically-bent daughter on some free passes (but would willingly buy tickets in the future!) for our first visit. So much to see!! I love the art with the contextual explanations to understand their place historically. Staff was wonderful and helpful along the way--they obviously are passionate about what they do and about DAI. Even if you are a casual art enthusiast (like me) you will be able to find some interesting or beautiful here!
