This is not the largest of national monument but it does offer its own charm. There are several stops with short hikes to see the main geological formations of the park. Note the main road is not paved so when visiting be aware what car you bring as some areas might be limited to get to.

I enjoyed the vivid earth tones. Painted Hills unit was very scenic. Also enjoyed the geological formations on top of the hills.
