It was a very nice little museum with wonderful artifacts. The lady working was supper sweet and helpful and the artifacts were perfect to learn about the history of Defuniak Springs.

Very interesting site of Civil War Veterans Home, you don't think about the veterans of the south not having the same care as the northern veterans, or that each state provided for their own veterans. Was very educational for me even as a American History major in school.
