Highland Park Fish Camp is a 30 acre gem located on the Norris Dead River, a portion of the St. Johns River that is neatly situated on the boundaries of Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge, a 23,000 acre preserve that has been left untouched by development. It is a nature lover’s paradise that has been left natural, unlike the growth and development of Central Florida, but only five miles from the center of historic downtown DeLand

  • We rented a pontoon for the day. Great time! Staff was friendly, the boat was in great shape. 4 stroke newer outboard and a big bimini top to keep us shaded. Boat even had a 12v charge for a phone. We had an awesome time exploring old Florida. We saw many birds, turtles and alligators. A great peaceful day. Many spots to stop and grab a bite or just cruise. Would definitely recommend. Be sure to check them out. They also do cabin rentals and fishing guided tours.
  • My family and I come here every year. We love it! It is a perfect getaway. The cabins are the cutest ever, very clean, and cozie. The cabins have plenty of room for our family of four. The camp grounds are clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We also love our pontoon boat rides on the St. Johns river. So if you’re ready to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the place to relax.
