We go to this park often, in every season. Peaceful and lovely. A paradise for bird waters or if you like to watch deer. Turn off at the fishing hole on the way to the boat dock. Very...

It's hard not to give this park a 5 because it holds a very dear place in my heart. I've been going there with my family for 20+ years and now I take my own kids every year. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 is because it lacks some amenities that other nice campgrounds have such as a jumping pillow, an indoor pool, and very nice playgrounds. If you're looking for a park for a simple and nice trip, this is your park. The campsites are pretty large compared to many that I've stayed at and there is a good amount of shade. It's very friendly to kids biking and we always set up a volleyball net in the large common area. The beach is about as good as it gets for a beach in central Ohio. The disc golf course is fantastic. As I said, the playgrounds are not the best and could use some updating (it's been a year since I've been there so it's possible that they've updated some things). The bathhouses are centrally located and are kept clean. We also enjoy getting ice cream at the camp store and playing some shuffle board. I never play shuffle board anywhere else, but I learned to play at Delaware St. Park as a kid and it's actually really fun. Overall Delaware St. Park is a great park to stay at. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
Staff here is awesome. Friendly, helpful and always with a smile. Signage on the highway would be nice. Entrance sneaks up on you. Unless I missed it, more than one water fill-up would definitely move things along
