    We stopped by on our Big 2022 Road Trip. We've visited many of the tourist traps in the Bowlin Travel empire, and Akela Flats is a grand example. Souvenirs, fudge, fireworks, trinkets, fancy stuff...

    Stopped here on my way to San Diego from Florida and I must say this place had me in awe. Very clean bathroom and oh so many unique gifts to choose from! This place is definitely a must stop! The employee's were also extremely nice and helpful.

    My family and I always stop at Bowlin's Akela Flats when we're traveling through. I love the homemade fudge. The kids love the weird souvenirs. There's always gorgeous jewelry and interesting bumper stickers there. Can't beat the gas prices. Only down side is the bathrooms. Those are kinda scary. But if you avoid those, the place is a hoot.
