  • The Denver Aquarium has all of the bells and whistles as any other aquarium would. It is located near downtown and is a quick in and out. If you are just doing the aquarium, it will take about 45minut...  more »
  • Took our toddler here to spend a couple hours while passing through Denver. We opted for the basic tickets so can’t comment on the 4D experience. There were many cool exhibits and our daughter had fun...  more »
  • The aquarium is deceivingly large. From the outside there isn’t much but once inside the aquarium winds around and has many cool areas. Local attention is on wildlife typically found in the immediate ...  more »

  • I came here from Wichita Ks to visit my boyfriend for the weekend. He took me here on an early Saturday and we enjoyed our time together here at the Aquarium. I didn’t have any expectations. But we sat in the bar area by the window where the aquarium was and had a waiter make us both a couple of really good alcoholic beverages and bring out some appetizers. It was relaxing. We got to see some cool fish , and little aquariums. The mermaids were kinda cool to watch. I thinks it’s a good place to bring kids to.
  • The aquarium looked bigger from outside than it actually was. It was a well maintained place and was fun. You will spend about an hour and a half tops from start to finish. On Saturday's I Can Only Imagine how busy this place gets. We stood in line for about 40 minutes to get tickets to go inside on Friday @10:30am. There are more attractions in the same aquarium like 4D movies and scuba diving which we did not purchase Of course all these extras cost more. Would recommend to anyone with a short amount of time or want to do something quick and easy for the day.
  • Our family went to the Aquarium yesterday. We love that they have separate entrances for restaurant and aquarium. We elected to eat lunch first. We were promptly seated and served. Tables offer a nice view of aquarium fish while dining ad well as two mermaids. Our great granddaughter was thrilled. We then went through the very nice gift shop and then back into the line for ticket purchase to the aquarium exhibit itself. Customers were handled very efficiently and the line moved quickly. There is no doubt that the aquarium in Denver is one of the best in the US and if you visit Denver make a point of going there and enjoying.
  • On a hot Colorado day my boyfriend and I decided to hit up our local downtown Aquarium. We arrived around 11:30am which was right before it got to crowed. In the line we were even entertained with cool wildlife including a dieting python. There’s lots of fun hands-on experiences for the kids like petting the stingrays (with two fingers only).Tons of priceless memories are made here and the fish look like they are living the high life. I personally endorse downtown aquarium as a super fun activity.
  • It is not as big as I was expecting especially for the cost of admission. It was very linear so you have to go with the flow of traffic and there were not many spaces to stop and just look. There were not many species or shows. The mermaid show was good. The signs were educational. Swimming with animals looked fun and is something I would consider doing in the future. I would go again when we can get discounted tickets and during the off season. It is very busy on summer weekends, as expected. We did not do any of the extra paid activities.
