If I could give more than 5 stars for our guide Ian Sullivan, I absolutely would. We caught numerous fish on our full day fishing Deckers with him, but even if we hadn’t caught a single fish, the fun we had and the amount of knowledge he shared with us about fly fishing was worth every penny. He was incredibly kind, well educated, and patient as we asked questions about the fish, the flies and everything in between. He also cooked us a hot meal, and it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had on any fishing excursion. I had such a phenomenal time, I’ve already booked another fly fishing trip with Ian…for next week. Thank you Ian and Trouts for a wonderful day full of catching brown and rainbow trout, and quality time with an excellent guide and lovely human being.

We had an excellent experience with Trouts! My husband and I did the full day fly fishing wade trip on the South Platte and had Scott as our guide. The whole experience from start to finish was easy to book, informative, and everyone was extremely communicative- all things very important when booking an experience, especially when visiting a new area. When you book a guide trip of any kind, you want it to be a fun and memorable trip. Scott is one of the best guides we’ve ever seen. He knows the river and the fish like its second nature. He is super friendly and we learned so much and caught some amazing fish. It was everything we could have hoped for and more! Highly recommend going with Trouts- they know what they’re doing!
