Derby Greenway, Derby

#14 of 31 in Trails in Connecticut
The Derby Greenway stretches for 1.7 miles along the banks of the Naugautck and Housatonic Rivers in Derby, CT. It was the first completed section of what will eventually become the much longer Naugatuck River Greenway stretching from Derby to Torrington.

The Derby Greenway also links to the Shelton Riverwalk across the Housatonic River via the Derby/Shelton Bridge. Plans are underway to renovate the bridge and make it more accommodating to walkers and cyclists.
