  • Went to the Iowa State Fair. Been at least twenty times because I grew up here and have lived here most of my life. I love just walking around and looking at stuff. Going to the agriculture building to look at flowers and the sculptures and going to see a horse show or dog show. Have something to eat of course. I don't like all the fried foods but there are other choices. The rides are cool but I'm not a ride type person. It was a good time anyway.
  • The fair was very clean and the people were helpful and friendly. The concert was the best I've ever been to! Prices were reasonable and there was a lot of great fair food to try. One thing that stood out was they had everything planned and coordinated for the enjoyment of the fair goers. No long lines, plenty of places to sit and a multitude of shuttles to the parking areas. I will go back, definitely.
