  • Spent 3 hours there with my 12 year old and really enjoyed it except that the historical part was closed, they were doing loud construction and we couldn't hear some of the videos and the cool body...

  • Well done - hidden jewel - great representation of the 300+ years that Detroit has been around. Some items displayed might only be relatable to people from Detroit and/or Michigan but it is worth...

  • Great place but not enough parents are doing stuff with their kids. There was one other kid there and that was it for a Saturday. Lots of new stuff, I recommend. I liked learning about the Detroit riots, great part full of stuff I didn't know. You won't be disappointed, you should go here.
  • In all the years I have lived in the Metro Detroit area, I didn't even know this museum existed. It's incredibly informative, it's filled with something for everyone and you can't beat the price of admission....Free! Be sure to visit the famous hand prints outside to compare yours!
