  • Great little free non-profit arboretum with an awesome educational center. Definitely worth a trip. Their specialties are azalea and rhododendron, so to experience the full wonder, time your trip for the spring flower season. Wonderful large trees. The pond is gorgeous. The director told us they were slowly restoring some native plants. The outdoor plant sale was very well priced and healthy plants. The inside plants were a little sad. We happened to hit an incredible iris exhibit and were blown away by the beauty. Yes, it's small but worth the trip. It's FREE!
  • This is tucked into the hills, small parking area with a nice welcome center. It has a small shop inside and good size deck and some sculptures outside. The trails are mainly paved,  winding, at an incline or sharp decline and divides into other trails.  But there is plenty of signage so as to not get lost. Benches and seating areas found throughout. Rows of rhodedendrums which must be nice to see flowering in the spring. Worth Exploring!
