Awesome hike for kids 5 and up. Need to have shoes with good grip, not recommended to go after rainy days. Portable potty are available. Enough parking spaces but still recommend to go early around 8. Lot of picnic benches around. And most importantly please do not litter.

I had a beautiful experience on the mountain hiking the Green Trail and its charming stone steps up to the summit. The boulders and the barren trees covered in blotches of soft green lichens draw you in for adventure and the summit has many different vantage points to sit with the scenery of the surrounding land. The energy of the mountain and the feeling from my experience on it were strong and good, as most things in nature are. Two things I didn't do that I will when I return- bring Binoculars and leave a donation in the donation box at the entrance as the funds for maintenance and improvements don't come from state federal or municipal sources.
