This place has some sentimental value since my husband's family visited yearly when he was a child. We were last there 8 years ago and it was getting pretty run down and most attractions weren't open then. However our most recent visit in July 2022, it is very clear that a lot is being renovated. The motel is updated and although not a luxury hotel, it was clean and comfortable. We got a 2 room suite for an excellent price. The hotel has an outdoor and indoor pool, both clean and well maintained. Service was helpful and friendly and our 2 dogs were welcome to stay as well. We enjoyed the steakhouse, very good food. Several entertainment attractions were open again and everyone was very friendly. This is clearly a once popular but dated road stop for families but it is trying to come back and it is definitely worth stopping. Plenty to occupy kids, not too crowded. As long as you aren't demanding luxury accommodations, would highly recommend for couples or families.

All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are low priced, clean and smell wonderful. You even have a private back porch. I loved the covered parking spaces right in front of each door that allows you to load your suitcases with ease. They have large vehicle spaces there too and are pet friendly. There’s also lots of shops and restaurants close by. I’ll definitely be staying again!
