  • Very cool location. Only tried their black lager, but really enjoyed it. Love the brick interior and green lighting. My favorite stop in canal park.

  • This is the kind of brewery and tap House I wish were located closer to where I live. I would literally be here all the time… It’s a bastion of sanity and good taste in an otherwise crazy world...

  • Fantastic atmosphere. Beer hall + board games galore. You can order flights in any number and they come in the most adorable little glasses. Unique beers - we loved the Wood Smoked Hefeweizen (no. 99) and the Chili Pepper Ale (no. 325). No food but they have lots of bar snacks and locally made Bavarian pretzels. Family friendly, helpful staff. Already looking forward to our next visit.
  • I had been to a couple of breweries in Duluth before, but this was my first time at Hoops. My friend wanted to go here because they had TVs and she wanted to watch football playoffs. It was so nice and spacious, and the tables were gorgeous. The beer choices were impressive - there was truly something for everyone! They had a healthy selection of NA options, too. I ended up with a flight - beermosa, radler, cherry ale, and barrel-aged sour. They were all good, but surprisingly the cherry ale was my favorite. The bartenders were great, too - and I loved that they sold ice cream!
