Very interesting place to check the maritime history of the Great Lakes. The exhibits were great and do really show the story behind them. There is a nice gift shop too. The center is located in a park area that you can seat and relax enjoying the view of either the lake or Duluth.
Really great museum. Gift shop was great. Elevator for anyone physically challenged. Movies play every so often. Loved canal park as well. Great benches. Saw a barge go through after bridge was raised. Lots of free things to do, photograph or just sit on a bench and enjoy scenery. We're visiting from Alabama so a different atmosphere. Plan a day around all the things to see and do around Duluth Riverwalk. Surrey's, scooters etc can be rented for additional prices.
