Project Survival's Cat Haven reviews
Tucked up and away from the road. Much bigger than I expected. Friendly staff, gift shop and guided tours. $15 a person and about 25 cats to see. Must do it at least once. more »

Had a wonderful visit. Very hot and the trail is moderate difficulty. Recommend tennis shoes or at least no heels. Went to celebrate my grandfather's 100th birthday and was very glad that they had a golf cart available for 2 passengers to ride in. Our guide was one of the interns and she was wonderful and knowledgeable. I certainly recommend anyone who is interested in wild cats come visit!
Visited Project Survival's Cat Haven while we were on an RV holiday of California. Amazing place, investing in cat survival projects around the world. Had a tour of the cats, big and small, that they have rescued and now live in the safety of the cat haven as they can't be put back in the wild. Lots of parking but none specially for large RV's. We had to park across several bays, but it wasn't busy so not an issue. To see the cats you must take a guided tour. You cannot wander around like you could at a zoo, but the difference between this and a zoo is huge. These guys really understand cats and they want to educate their visitors. The guide we had was great, she was really knowledgeable and keen to answer any questions. The tour takes around an hour, the ground is uneven in places so wear decent footwear. There are some shady spots but a lot of the tour is uncovered so bring a hat and suncream.
