Herndon Hills Farm, Durham

#50 of 55 in Things to do in Durham
Farm · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
We are a 200-year-old family farm in southern Durham. We grow blueberries, blackberries and 10 varieties of muscadine grapes. Our blueberries are certified organic. Our blackberries and grapes are grown using the same methods, and we will be pursuing certification for them soon.

We serve individuals and families, but unfortunately are not able to accommodate groups. Children visiting the farm must be supervised at all times.

  • Herndon Hills Farm has a variety of activities for the family and friends. Many of them are during holidays or harvest time.  more »
  • Nice area to walk around and explore. Fresh air and a beautiful day. Got a flyer and explored all the items on it. Relaxing, beautiful.  more »
  • Went picking blueberries with my sister. Very easy to pick as there was an abundance of berries. The farm is certified organic also!
  • Great beautiful place, but unfortunately this season there are no blackberries and no blueberries to pick. The BIRDS are tearing the place up. 😠
