  • Although the Nature Center is closed due to COVID-19, we went here to do a self guided hike. We planned on doing the Albert Loop, but it was closed because the salmon spawning brought a large influx....  more »
  • Went by myself and enjoyed the peace and quiet the woods offered in a diverse terrain. The path is mostly flat and easy but watch for roots here and there. The path crosses the river with mountain....  more »
  • As an ex Boy Scout, I love nature. But I am used to the Caribbean forests. Eagle River Nature Center is amazing. The forest itself is beautiful. Our hike was great, a lot of birds but no other wildlife. Some hiker told us that they saw a Black Bear today. We wish we could have been there.
  • This is a great place for a family hike. The short loop is stroller acceptable and there are lots of benches and tables for a picnic. Take bear spray, when we went some trails were closed due to high bear activity.
