  • What a wonderful experience for the entire family. My kids found lots of fun experiences (and really enjoyed washing clothes). Using the trams to get to each area worked well and gave us a little break from walking. All the staff were very knowledgeable and really did a great job of explaining things to the kids, while also being informative to me (as a history teacher). We are already planning on returning later in the year to see what changes with the seasons.
  • Fantastic! Everything is spread apart so it never feels crowded and there’s tons of walking—or tram stops if you prefer. So much history, nature, and beauty! Can’t wait to go back!!! $15 per person-excellent gift shop, friendly staff, spectacular interpretation; perfect place to let the kids “run around” The other guests were polite and minded their manners too, which is always a plus! Respect for each other, nature, and history was present everywhere! The only problem we had was the map distances weren’t to scale. The 0.3 mile trail was five times longer on the map than the 0.6mile trail.
